Executive Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract - Maternity Cover)
Location: Bristol (with some flexibility for home working)
Salary: £33,009 - £36,011 per annum
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until February 2027 (or upon the return of the substantive postholder)
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide professional, confidential, and high-quality support to a senior leadership team within a large and respected organisation.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting senior leaders, managing priorities, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth running of executive operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and executive support to senior leaders.
Manage complex diaries, meetings, and schedules.
Coordinate priorities and respond to changing business needs.
Prepare documentation, correspondence, and reports.
Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Support the delivery of strategic objectives through proactive administrative support.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrative support role.
Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
Experience managing complex diaries and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Outstanding attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Ability to work independently and use sound judgement.
Experience handling confidential information.
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
Experience minute-taking and coordinating board or leadership meetings.
