About the Role
Vision for Education are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to work on a full-time basis within a welcoming primary school in the TS12 area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to support pupils during a crucial stage of their primary education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school whilst fostering confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative school team committed to providing the best possible outcomes for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a Year 6 class in line with the National Curriculum
Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote pupil achievement and wellbeing
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
A sound understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
