Based: Northwich
Salary: circa £70k + benefits including enhanced pension, private healthcare & Hybrid working
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Group Finance Analyst to join a growing, global business due to internal promotion. This role will provide support & insight across group finance, supporting the executive board. A varied analytical & project-orientated role including delivering financial process improvement, implementing group-wide systems, rolling out new reporting requirements and supporting group overall financial strategy
Role:
Providing finance support to current consolidation system and other group-wide system initiatives as they are rolled outSupporting Finance Director with FP&A activities including optimizing data and providing clear, insightful variance analysisIdentifying key drivers of performance and recommending actions, business partnering across various departmentsAutomating and supporting in preparation of main board financial updateDriving PowerBI across the business, creating dashboards and manipulating data to improve accuracy in financial planning & reportingCreating processes to track, analyse and report in business performance at group and business unit levelManaging implementation of group pricing changes, creating models to forecast future pricing trends and implications to company financialsTaking ownership of financial management of group including overseeing day to day accounting activities, month end and forecastingTaking ownership of PowerBI processes and continued improvement
Experience:
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a senior finance leadership roleStrong commercial acumen with experience partnering with operational and commercial teams and within FP&AStrong technical accounting knowledge with experience managing management accounts.Experience of working in a manufacturing/stock based business would be advantageous but not essential.PowerBI experience essential including creating of dashboardsGroup finance experience desirable but not essential
