Overview

To oversee the day-to-day administrative and office functions of the branch, ensuring efficient business operations, accurate financial processes, compliance with company procedures, and effective support for branch activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Managing daily office operations and administrative functions.

· Supervising office staff and providing support to branch employees.

· Maintaining accurate records of sales, purchases, and stock movements.

· Managing cash handling, banking, and petty cash procedures.

· Monitoring accounts, credit control, and account administration.

· Supporting staff administration activities.

· Maintaining absence records, and holiday tracking.

· Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.

· Coordinating communication between sales, warehouse, transport, and management teams.

Key Skills and Experience

· Strong administrative and organisational skills.

· Experience in a builder's merchant, construction, trade, or wholesale environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

· Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

· Experience with invoicing, credit control and financial administration.

· Leadership and team management skills.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Hours and Salary

Salary is dependent on experience .

Hours are Monday to Friday 07.30am-17.00pm.
